When refunds apply, what is non-refundable, and how the security deposit hold works.

When Refunds Are Issued

Refunds are issued only for: cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled booking, genuine payment processing errors, or where a refund is required by law.

Non-Refundable Situations

No cash refunds are provided for safety-related ejections, failure to complete onboarding (safety quiz or waiver), conduct or safety-line violations, or voluntary early returns before your scheduled end time.

Processing Time

Approved refunds typically take 3 to 10 business days to clear through our payment processor. The exact timing depends on your card issuer and bank.

Security Deposit Hold

The $500 pre-authorization security hold is not a charge. It is released after a successful inspection and return of the watercraft. The timing of the release depends entirely on your issuing bank. The hold is only captured in cases of damage, loss, excessive cleaning, or policy violations.
